POLICE are looking for the driver of a car which was found abandoned in a hedge after crashing into a tree on the A595 outside Millom.
The incident was reported to police at around 6.30am this morning. The green Vauxhall Corsa is understood to have hit a tree on the A595 near Hallthwaites between the Chapel Brow junction and the junction with the A593.
Police believe the driver has left the scene after the crash and are keen to speak to them.
Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
