A NEW date has been set for the case of a woman accused of a string of violence and disorder offences.
Bethany Armstrong was due to appear at Furness Magistrates' Court yesterday but will now appear next Wednesday. The 22-year-old, of Newton Street, Millom, is accused of being drunk and disorderly at Furness General Hospital, assaulting by beating against Neil Smith and Christian Porritt, causing a nuisance to NHS staff at FGH, assaulting police officer PC Georgia Denney and destroying a police-issue safety suit, all on July 22. She is also accused of damaging a police safety suit the following day.
