Trespassing charge: Millom Railway Station
TWO people from Millom are due to appear in court in Barrow accused of trespassing on the railway line and assaulting a woman.
Nigel Anthony Howitt and Leanne Martin are both jointly charged with assaulting Amanda Gomersall in Millom on August 30 of last year.
Howitt, 47, of Lapstone Road, and Martin, 36, of Holborn Hill, both deny the charge but have pleaded guilty to the offence of trespassing on the railway line on the same date.
They will appear at Furness Magistrates' Court tomorrow to go on trial for the assault.
