A FAMILY who organised a memorial event to celebrate four years of fundraising is delighted to raise thousands of pounds for charity.
Dean Shadforth, from Millom, organised a memorial charity event in memory of his little brother, Rylan Cosgrove.
Family and friends gathered at Millom Rugby League Club on Saturday for a rugby match and charity fun night and raised £1231.66 for the North West Air Ambulance and Bluebell Foundation.
Mr Shadforth said: "We're very pleased and want to say thanks to Glyn Robinson for donating three rugby shirts.
"We just really wanted to thank everyone for all they've done over the years and make a memory so when all the kids grow up and get older they will still think of Rylan."
