ELIGIBLE households in Millom and Haverigg are being offered £50 Tesco giftcards after the recent flooding.

The vouchers are being distributed by the Copeland Community Fund after parts of Millom and Haverigg were affected by heavy rain earlier this month.

Any families affected can collect their giftcards at the Tin Chapel between 11.30am and 2.30pm today or at Millom Network Centre between 3pm and 7pm today.

Anyone who would like to claim a voucher is asked to bring ID.

Residents must have filled in a Flood Support Form which will be available if residents have not already registered.

The cards can take up to 24 hours to be activated.
