A LIBRARY is to play host to an art exhibition with mental health firmly on its agenda.
The mental health charity MIND is to exhibit works of art by its members and at the same time share information through its displays in local libraries and community centres throughout.
Millom Library in St George’s Road, will hold its show, Mental Health Awareness Display, tomorrow and Friday.
Along with the public being able to view the works of art there will be information booklets available to take away.
MIND said it is estimated that at any given time one in five people at work are struggling with mental ill health, but most issues can be overcome and a full recovery is common.
Also at Millom Library on Thursday at 3pm, author Kevin J Porter will be holding a book signing and talk with questions and answers starting at 3pm.
