THE family of a Millom man who died after falling into the river at Haverigg are today attending his inquest.
Andrew Edward Bird, of Holborn Hill in Millom, does in September last year.
The 27-year-old, who had Asperger Syndrome, died on September 24 last year after apparently sliding down the bank into the River Lazy in Haverigg. His body was later discovered in the water.
The former Millom School pupil was described by his mother, Cheryl, as a "lovely, lovely boy" and was well-loved and well-known by many in the town.
His inquest is being held today at Cleator Moor Civic Hall.
