A WAR veteran will recount his days as an 18-year-old serving in the Falklands at a book launch in his home town.

Kevin Porter will return to Millom to launch his book Fearless, which contains reflections from his own personal diary.

He will be joined at the launch tomorrow by rear admiral Jeremy Larken, former captain of HMS Fearless and author of the books foreword, and the mayor of Millom Angela Dixon.
