Police tape used to cordon off an incident
A ROAD in Cumbria has been closed in both directions following a traffic collision.
Two vehicles are said to have been involved in the incident on the A595 near to The Highlands, Whitehaven. Police were called at 2.39pm and emergency services are on the scene.
Southbound traffic is being diverted through Whitehaven town centre by New Road. Northbound traffic is being diverted through Inkerman Terrace. Delays are to be expected.
