A BOROUGH'S mayor is to tour the area to meet local residents.
Copeland mayor Mike Starkie has announced a serious of public meetings to be held next month.
He will be meeting Millom residents on September 6 at 6pm at the Clock Tower to discuss updates on a host of council projects and answer questions and issues.
Mr Starkie said: "When I was elected as mayor, I made a pledge that the council will be open and transparent, and be accountable to the public.
"I'd urge everyone to attend to raise and discuss the issues that are priorities for their neighbourhoods and hometowns."
