A WOMAN was injured when her arm was trapped during a domestic assault.
Brian Brown, 29, of Summer Hill, Bootle, was charged with assault relating to the incident on June 15.
An argument resulted in Brown and his partner passing his house key back and forth through an open window.
He then tried to shut the window but trapped the woman's arm between the frame, causing bleeding and bruising.
At Furness Magistrates' Court Brown was given a 12-month community order, during which he has to complete 20 days of rehabilitation work.
He was also ordered to pay a £90 fine, a £30 victim surcharge and costs of £85.
