Millom four in court charged with wounding

FOUR men from Millom appeared in court yesterday charged with wounding a man.

Ryan Mason, 28, of Festival Road; Blake McPherson, 20, of Newton Street; Adam Pay, 26, of Butler Street; and Alan Johnston, 25, of Castle Street; gave no indication of plea at Furness Magistrates’ Court today, after being charged with attacking David Hine on August 26.

The four men are accused of unlawfully and maliciously wounding Mr Hine with intent to do him grievous bodily harm.

The case was committed to Preston Crown Court to be heard on June 20.

All four were granted bail, with the condition of not contacting or communicating with the complainant.
