Millom ‘cannabis farm’ burnt up

A CANNABIS farm caused a house fire, police said.
The fire started in the attic space of a house in Wellington Street, Millom, on Friday.
Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service crews from Millom, Brough-ton and Bootle were called to the scene just after 1pm.
A Cumbria police spokeswoman said an illegal electrical hook-up, used for a cannabis farm, was found to be the cause of the fire.
The road was closed for several hours while emergency services dealt with the fire.
Shopkeepers reported seeing thick black smoke coming from the house.
Firefighters confirmed a small amount of damage was caused to the loft space.
- Police said a 25-year-old local man was arrested on suspicion of cultivating cannabis and the abstraction of electricity.
He has been bailed and is due to return to Workington police station on July 19.

That's nonsense "Focusonpeace".
If it was regularised and made legal, there would still be black market producers producing it as cheaply as possible - stealing the lecky etc to acheive a higher margin.Posted by Martin on 9 June 2012 at 16:48
