Man left with facial injuries after Barrow street attack

AN investigation is under way after a man was beaten to the floor and left with facial injuries in a Barrow street.

The assault took place on Michaelson Road bridge at around 12.30am this morning, a man was walking towards Barrow Island when he was attacked.

His attacker, described as around 25 years old of average build, wearing a red tshirt and jeans, punched and kicked the victim to the floor leaving him with facial injuries.

A black mobile phone, on O2, and an asthma inhaler were lost during the incident.

Anyone with any information about the attack, or who witnessed the incident, is asked to speak to Barrow police on 101 or phone Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

Well this is when they should stop paying benefits to people and make them do something for the money...this proves how much scum there is in this town. If they had a job they would realise how hard people have to work and cant afford to take time off work with injuries.

Barrow is a lovely little town and great place to raise a family, incidents like these are common anywhere you live.
