Man beaten and robbed in Barrow back street

POLICE have launched an investigation after a gang carried out a robbery.

At around 2am on Saturday, a man was attacked in Moorfield Street, Barrow.

He was approached from behind by a group of three males in dark clothing, who followed him and pushed him into an alleyway at the back of Gloucester Street.

They knocked him to the ground and kicked him to the body, before making off with £200 in  cash.

Anyone with information is asked to contact PC Rigby at Barrow police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

Have your say

Good greif!! The Town is full of thugs! Cowardly thugs in gangs! I wouldn't walk these streets at 2am especially not with £200. I really hope you get it back.
