A JAZZ festival is set to take place at the end of the month, with celebrated musicians headlining the bill.
The Ambleside Days Contemporary Jazz Festival will be held at Zeffirellis, on Compston Road, from August 30 to September 2.
Derek Hook, an organiser of the festival, said: "It is very rare to see musicians of this quality - they are all stellar musicians and there will be two sets every night.
"We started the festival last year and it was very well received - we decided to do it again and we are really excited."
Artist will include Claire Martin OBE, Paul McCandless, Jason Rebello and Mike Walker.
Tickets for the whole four days are £130, with evening tickets priced at £35.
