ENTRIES are now being accepted for a popular charity cycle event taking place later this year.
The 22nd annual Tour de Furness, organised by the Rotary Club of Furness, will take place in September, the entry fee is £15 and people can cycle five, 13, 23, or 50 miles.
The event will start and finish at the Roose Conservative Club, setting off between 7am and 10am.
The principle sponsors of the event are BAE Systems, Centrica, Kimberly-Clark, Deltawaite and Topmark.
Anyone who would like to take part in the event can choose from a number of charity options.
People can enter online at www.tourdefurness.co.uk or get a paper entry form from Topmark Cycles and other selected venue.
Any late entries, after August 26, will cost £20 and all entries must be received by September 2.
The team who raise the most money will be awarded the Bill Bartlett trophy.
