A WATER safety campaign is to be launched by the Lake District National Park to urge people to be safe over the summer months.
The LDNP is introducing free lifejacket clinics, while powerboat owners are also urged to be vigilant in their awareness of carbon monoxide poisoning dangers. It comes after a fatal incident on Windermere in 2013.
The launch event will take place tomorrow (July 20) at 2pm at Ferry Nab, Bowness.
