POLICE are investigating a suspicious incident at a South Cumbria church.
A ladder was discovered propped up against the vestry side of St Mary's Church in Ambleside on Saturday night. Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
