A MAN has been flown to hospital after he suffered a cardiac arrest in the street.
The Great North Air Ambulance was called to Windermere today at around 9.30am.
Paramedics and police at the scene had already begun CPR on the man, in his 40s, and managed to get his heart beating again.
The man was put in a medically-induced coma before being flown to the Cumberland Infirmary in Carlisle where his condition was described as life-threatening.
