NATIONAL Grid have announced their plans to connect the Moorside Power Station to the grid.
From October 28 to 5pm on January 6 2017, a public consultation will take place, where you can contribute your thoughts on the development.
Members of the public can either use the internet to make their voice heard, or visit one of 43 sites across Cumbria to pick up a feedback form.
Here is everything you need to know, so your opinion is counted.
Online:
The easiest way to contribute is by visiting the project's website at: www.northwestcoastconnections.com
After registering through the website, members of the public will be able to comment on the route of the lines, pylon design, the overall project, and many other factors.
Comments can be submitted through email, the address to send those to is:
nationalgrid@northwestcoastconnections.com
Updates can also be found on the project's Twitter account, @ngnwcc
Telephone:
Comments can be made via freephone 08008766990.
Lines are open between 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.
You can be kept informed through text alerts by texting NWCC to 80800
