MOUNTAIN rescue volunteers were called out in the early hours of the morning to help find a missing woman.
On Wednesday August 2 the Duddon and Furness MRT were contacted by police at 4.47am to assist with their search.
A 55-year-old woman had been missing since the previous evening, and was thought to be in the Waberthwaite/Eskmeals area.
Air-scenting search dogs and the Millom Coastguard were also called in to assist.
Fourteen DFMRT members took part in the search; the woman was found at around 8am.
