A MOUNTAIN rescue team was called to assist a male who had fallen in wintery conditions on a Lakeland mountain.
Wasdale Mountain Rescue Team went to the aid of a man who had a fallen and injured his shoulder on Scafell Pike.
Rescue 999 from Preswick assisted the team and flew them to the scene of the accident.
The man was treated for his injuries and flown to Cumberland Infirmary in Carlisle.
