Motorcyclist taken to hospital after Lake District crash
A MOTORCYCLIST was taken to hospital today after a crash in the Lake District.
Emergency services were called to the A593 at Torver following reports of a crash involving a motorcycle and a car at 11.30am.
Fire engines from Ulverston and Broughton were sent to the scene and provided first aid.
The motorcyclist is believed to have been taken to hospital by a road ambulance.
