LAKE District planning bosses are expected to approve plans to transform a playground within the region's most prominent visitor centre.
Members of the Lake District National Park Authority's development control committee will decide on Wednesday whether to grant planning permission for the new play area at Brockhole, near Windermere.
The scheme, which would replace aging equipment and be no higher than the existing children's playground, is recommended for approval.
