DELEGATES packed out a Conservative Party conference in the Lakes.
Ben Berry hosted the event which was held at the Low Wood Bay Hotel in Windermere over the weekend.
More than 100 guests attended, and speakers included Copeland MP Trudy Harrison, deputy leader of the Conservative MEPs Jacqueline Foster, and security minister Ben Wallace, who spoke about organised crime, cyber security and Trident submarines.
Cumbria police and crime commissioner Peter McCall was also there and paid tribute to his predecessor, Richard Rhodes.
He said his priorities were tackling anti-social behaviour, public safety, domestic violence, child sexual exploitation, hate crime, mental health and paying particular attention to the role of volunteers in the force.
