A LAKE DISTRICT motorist has lost her licence after being caught drink-driving home from a colleague's leaving do.
Christina Louise Dickson had only planned to go out for a meal, but was talked into staying out, Furness and District Magistrates Court heard today. The 25-year-old, of Holbeck Ghyll, Windermere, was pulled over on the A591 at 4am on June 27. She tested as having 63 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.
Dickson was disqualified for 18 months and ordered to pay a £400 fine, a £40 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.
