A HANDBAG was stolen from a parked car in Windermere.
Police say the passenger side window of a blue Toyota was broken and a brown leather bag wrapped in a light blue demin jacket was taken at around 5.40pm on Thursday.
The car was parked by the roadside in Rayrigg Road.
Police are advising people to remove items from view in cars.
Anyone with information should ring 101, asking to speak to PC 2353.
