GRASS cutting at a major junction is causing traffic chaos leaving motorists on the A590 stuck in gridlock.
Eyewitnesses have reported long tailbacks from the Brettargh Holt roundabout which connects the A590 to the A591.
Disruption is mainly affecting the eastbound carriageway, with drivers as far back as the Meathop roundabout caught up in the traffic.
