A GIANT water slide is coming to the Lake District this June.
The inflatable, which will be at least 328ft long, will be set up at Limefitt Holiday Park in Windermere on Saturday June 11.
The Slide the Park Festival is touring Park Resorts and Parkdean holiday parks across the UK in the summer, with money raised for Make-A-Wish UK, a charity that creates amazing memories for children fighting life-threatening conditions.
As well as the main slip and slide attraction, there will be food and drinks stalls, live music, entertainment and an urban street show at every park, providing families with a fun-filled day out.
Tickets for the Slide the Park Festival will be available to all holidaymakers on the park, as well as members of the public and those living in the local area.
Entry for the event is £15 per person plus booking fee.
