TWO people were cut free from cars after a Lakes crash.
Firefighters were called to a road traffic collision in Windermere on Saturday.
The crews were called to Crook Road at 6.12pm and found two cars with one person trapped in each of the vehicles. Both casualties were removed from the vehicles using cutting equipment. They were then handed into the care of paramedics.
Police said a 20-year-old woman, of Coniston, from a Toyota Aygo car had neck, leg and pelvis injuries. She was taken to the Royal Preston Hospital. A 19-year-old man, of Windermere, from an Audi A3, had minor injuries and was taken to the Royal Lancaster Infirmary.
