Keswick to Barrow 2012 - Every pound counts for us

NATASHA Howe, the Cancer Research UK Cumbria area volunteer manager paid tribute to the walkers.

She said: “We are so grateful for the fundraising efforts of all those who took part in the Keswick to Barrow walk.

“Cancer Research UK receives no government funding for its life-saving research. Every step the charity makes towards beating cancer relies on every single pound donated.

“The money raised by the walkers will be used by Cancer Research UK to support research into all aspects of cancer through the work of over 4,000 scientists, doctors and nurses across the country.”
