Icy conditions on Cumbrian roads

CUMBRIA woke up to frosty conditions this morning as freezing temperatures returned.

Roads in the south of the county are particularly icy, with reports of slippery conditions on the A595 between Kirkby and Askam and on the A591 near Grasmere.
Temperatures are expected to drop to zero degrees overnight and will hover around free until the weekend.
