A TV presenter and gardening expert is set to visit South Cumbria in June.
Cumbria’s annual horticultural celebration - the Holker Garden Festival will be celebrating its 24th year this summer with the attendance of one of the country’s best-loved TV gardeners, Charlie Dimmock.
Charlie, perhaps best known for the incredibly popular TV show, Ground Force, will be the Festival’s special guest on Saturday 4th June 2016, meeting and greeting visitors on and around the showground, in the Grand Floral Marquee and taking part in Q & A sessions in the Holker Garden Theatre; offering expert advice and top tips to amateur gardeners and visitors to the 24th Festival.
Hosted by The Cavendish Family in the grounds of their home - Holker Hall in Cark near Grange, the three day event, taking place from Friday 3rd to Sunday 5th June, is a celebration of gardening, countryside, food and crafts.
