Police hunt heartless thugs who stole memorial bench in South Cumbria
A FAMILY has been left devastated after a beloved relative's memorial bench was stolen.
The bench, in memory of Val Patterson, was stolen from Witherslack in Grange.
Police believe at least two people would have been required to remove and carry the memorial bench.
The family are said to be incredibly upset by the theft.
Whoever stole the bench is likely to have left the scene via Quarry Road or Mill Side village.
Anyone with information, or who has been offered the bench for sale, is asked to call police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
