Scene: Allithwaite near Grange
A PAINTER and decorator from Grange has pleaded guilty to attacking a man.
Kevin Pearson admitted the offence of assault by beating when he appeared at Kendal Magistrates' Court yesterday.
The 55-year-old, of Allithwaite Road in Grange, pleaded guilty to assaulting Colin Thompson in Allithwaite on October 6.
Pearson was given a 12-month conditional discharge and was ordered to pay £300 compensation to Mr Thompson.
He must also pay £85 costs and a £20 surcharge.
