RESIDENTS are being invited to sign up to an annual walk across Morecambe Bay which fundraises for a vital service.
The Bay Search and Rescue Cross Morecambe Bay Walk 2016 will see participants trek from Arnside to Kents Bank Railway Station, on Saturday from 2.30pm.
The annual walk will, as always, be led by Cedric Robinson, the Queen's Guide to the Sands, and accompanied by all-terrain rescue vehicles belonging to the team.
Anybody who is comfortable walking for approximately three to four hours and up to about eight miles is welcome.
Teams of friends and family are encouraged to take part.
There will water channels to wade through so participants should be prepared to get their legs wet.
Tickets cost £5 to £10.
