A PRIMARY school has secured a £10,000 grant to transform its play areas.
Lindale Primary School in Grange was awarded the money by the National Lottery Awards for All programme.
The cash has gone towards creating a new path which will allow pupils to access the outdoor learning area throughout the year.
The school previously struggled to access the area because a field was prone to getting waterlogged during bad spells of weather.
They have also used the grant to erect a new climbing frame, outdoor musical instruments, and fun games which the children can play with on their lunch breaks.
The National Lottery Awards for All programme sees grants ranging from £300 to £1,000 given out to community groups with lower incomes.
It aims to improve life for local people and neighbourhoods
