MANAGEMENT at a Grange bank that was targeted by burglars have reassured customers no money was stolen.
Last week in the early hours of Friday January 12 the Furness Building Society, in Lowther Gardens, was broken into.
The burglars forced entry into the main office and an outbuilding, but fled after the burglar alarm activated.
A spokesman from FSB has since confirmed nothing was stolen and the branch is once again open as normal.
Anyone who can help the police with their inquiries into the crime should contact 101, quoting log number 21, of January 12.
