Police: Battery theft probe
POLICE are appealing for information after golf cart batteries, valued at around £8,000, were stolen from a South Lakes golf club.
Cumbria police said offenders forcibly removed and stole around 20 batteries from carts located at Grange Golf Club, in Meathop Road.
Police said the offence has happened sometime between 9am on March 20 and 9.15am on March 27.
Anyone with information is asked to call PC 2445 Gardner at Cumbria Police on 101. Alternatively the public can email police on 101@cumbria.police.uk, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
