A GRANGE woman drank three gin and tonics before crashing her car minutes from her home.
Janet Theresa Fox, 57, of Fernleigh Road, was driving to her friend's house on April 16 when she crashed into a gate in Eden Mount, Furness Magistrates' Court heard today.
Fox was banned from driving for 19 months after having 75 microgrammes of alcohol in 100ml of breath, more than double the legal limit. She was also fined £120 and ordered to pay court costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £30.
