HOUSE prices in a local seaside town have increased by more than 10 percent in the past year a recent study has found.
It has been revealed that house prices in Grange have seen the second highest increase in the country.
A survey conducted by property website Zoopla showed that prices in the seaside town have increased by 10.58 per cent.
This means that an average house in Grange would set you back £273,965.
Grange is the only town in the north that features in top ten of the survey.
Predictably south east towns such as Margate, Southend-on-Sea and Felixstowe feature in the top ten.
Buyers looking for a cheaper seaside property are encourages to look at houses in Scotland or Wales.
Salcoats in Scotland has one of the lowest property values, with homes worth on average £109,109.
Homes in Rhyl come in at an average of £134,577.
