A HORSE and stuntman who have featured in the filming of the international hit series Game of Thrones are among the stars at a South Cumbria festival.
Equines, llamas and terriers are the stars of the show in the arena demonstrations at Holker Garden Festival this weekend.
Horsemen of the Knight thrilled the crowds with their jousting and terrifying stunts at speed on horseback.
The hero of the shows, The Red Knight, Ryan Quayle, said: "It's a lovely festival, there is such a great atmosphere."
Equines and stuntmen from the team have been involved in the filming of Game of Thrones in Northern Ireland. They include Andalusian horse Neuron and his rider, former showjumper Matthew Cawley.
"It was absolutely amazing, we did formation work and battle scenes."
The Thorpe siblings, Joshua, 12, Bethanie, nine and Samuel, three, of Urswick, cheered on the good knights and booed the bad ones.
Bethanie, said: "It was really good, My favourite was the white horse that was dancing."
Their mum Catherine, 38, said: "It's a fantastic festival, we have really enjoyed the knights display."
Also entertaining the crowds in the area was the athletic jumping Blackrock Llama Display Team and the very speedy Little Terrier Racing demonstrations.
