Games console stolen from Barrow home

A BURGLAR forced open a front door in Barrow and made off with a games console and a mobile phone.

The break-in happened at about 7.45pm at a house in Fenton Street, Barrow, on Thursday.

Detectives say the door was forced open and the culprit stole a Samsung Galaxy Ace mobile phone and a Playstation 3 before fleeing.

Anyone with information is being asked to contact Barrow CID.

They also want to speak to any shop owners or individuals who may have been offered these items for sale.
