Flood warnings in place for Cumbria coastline

A FLOOD warning is in force for the Cumbria coast between Gretna and Silloth in anticipation of the high spring tide due at 1.08pm today.

The Environment Agency was anticipating tidal spray and onshore flooding potentially affecting Mossband Hall, Burgh Marsh, Port Carlisle, the Wampool Estuary, Skinburness Marsh, and also Skinburness and Silloth.
