Dog attacks teenager in Barrow street

A TEENAGER was bitten on the leg during a dog attack in a Barrow street.

An 18-year-old man was attacked while at the rear of a property in Broadway at 10pm on Saturday December 28.

The animal is believed to be a German Shepherd type dog.

The owner was described as a female in her 30s and wearing a pink coat.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Cumbria Police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

Have your say

As this attack happened in the Broadway Area I hope the dogs rabies injections were up to date.

What appalling dog ownership. There should be much tougher conditions required for dog owners, licensing for one - and I write as the owner of 2 dogs. The blame has to lay at the owner's feet. Hope your son's ok Jeanette.
