Warning of bogus delivery men in Dalton
RESIDENTS in Dalton are being warned of bogus tradesmen purporting to be delivery drivers who then enter insecure properties.
Police are asking people in the Furness area to be aware of individuals claiming to be delivering parcels or catalogues for a neighbour.
The men are believed to be smartly dressed and wearing possibly a body warmer.
Police say they have entered insecure homes during the day.
Anybody with information should ring officers on 101. In the case of emergency people should always ring 999.
