Criminals attempted to break into a Dalton business last week by using power tools to gain entry.
Police are investigating criminal damage made to accountancy firm, Smeaton & Holmes Ltd in Market Street, Dalton.
Overnight on March 23-24, two locks were drilled into, but the offenders did not gain access to the premises.
Anyone with information should contact Cumbria Police on 101, quoting log 88, March 24.
