Dalton Drill Hall in Nelson Street
POLICE are looking for the driver of a white van who crashed into a parked car in Dalton before allegedly driving off.
A blue Peugeot 205 was parked in Nelson Street opposite the Drill Hall at around 3.40pm on Monday when a white Mercedes Vito van collided with it. Police are particularly keen to speak to a woman who passed a note to a local resident shortly after the incident.
Anyone with information, or who may have witnessed the collision, is asked to contact PC Lumb on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
