Damaged: The crashed Saxo at the side of Abbey Road near Dalton JON GRANGER
AN appeal has been launched to find witnesses to a one-car crash after a Citroen Saxo left the road between Dalton and Barrow.
The blue Saxo left Abbey Road just outside of Dalton and smashed into a tree at around 10.45am on Sunday.
The driver, a 20-year-old man, was taken to Furness General Hospital as a precaution but was later discharged.
Police are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
Anyone who saw the crash, or the vehicle beforehand, is asked to call police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
